Legal

Terms of service

The agreement between you and My Daily Knowledge when you create an account or subscribe, written in plain language.

Draft for legal review. These terms describe how the My Daily Knowledge service works. They must be reviewed and completed by the owner's lawyer before launch, including the operator's legal name and address, governing law, consumer rights such as withdrawal and refund periods, and limitation of liability wording.

The service

My Daily Knowledge is a subscription that delivers educational articles by email according to the fields, levels and schedules you choose, with an online reader, archive and, depending on your plan, learning paths, quizzes and other features. Articles are researched and written with AI under the process described in our methodology.

Your account

  • Give a valid email address you control, keep your password secure, and tell us if you think your account has been misused.
  • Your account is personal. Do not share it or resell access to the service.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Educational content only

Articles are for general education. They are not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and they do not take your personal circumstances into account. Legal articles describe the law of the jurisdiction they name, which may not be yours, and laws change. Always consult a qualified professional about your own situation.

AI-generated content

Articles are produced by AI from verified sources and pass automated checks and an independent fact check before delivery. We work hard to make them accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every article is complete or free of errors. Each article cites its sources so you can check them, and we welcome reports of errors through our contact page.

Plans and limits

Each plan sets the number of knowledge fields, articles a week and a day, email schedules, the article depths and learning structures you can use, and which features are included, as shown on the pricing page. Higher-volume plans are subject to fair use. Lessons are delivered when articles pass our checks; an article that fails is withheld, so a lesson may occasionally be delayed rather than sent with errors.

Payment and renewal

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. We email a reminder before each renewal.
  • When you change plan, Stripe adjusts the charge for the remainder of the current period.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we email you. If it still cannot be collected, deliveries stop.
  • We will give notice by email before any price change affects your subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account. Your subscription then does not renew, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Unsubscribing from lesson emails does not cancel a subscription.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access other people's accounts or data, or to disrupt or overload the service.
  • Do not scrape the service or use it to build a competing collection of articles.
  • Do not submit custom topics or other content that is unlawful, abusive or intended to produce harmful material.

Intellectual property

Articles are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may keep them, print them and share short extracts with attribution, but not republish or sell them. The sources cited in articles belong to their publishers; we link to them and do not republish them.

Liability

The service is provided as described on this website. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on educational articles. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service develops. If a change matters, we will tell subscribers by email before it takes effect. Questions are welcome through our contact page.
